Monica works for the San Diego & Imperial Colleges Regional Consortium where she coordinates work-based learning opportunities for K-12 districts as well as facilitates Professional Development events for K-14 educators and administrators. She studied at the University of Baja California, International Relations. Her past work experience has been a Trade Specialist for the U.S. Department of Commerce at the American Consulate in Tijuana, Mexico and a Business Specialist for the San Diego Centers for International Trade Development. Monica is experienced in event coordination for business and educational institutions as well as cross-border trade, coordinating trade missions, B-2-B meetings, manufacturing plant tours. Monica is bilingual in English/Spanish. She enjoys traveling with family and friends.
